I woke up in a hateful mood this morning. A real "Fuck this, people fuckin' suck! I'm gonna … go about my day in a normal fashion. BUT I'M NOT GONNA LIKE IT!" kind of mood. Then I got this email.

I won the S&M Bike!!!! I never win anything. I had absolutely no reservations about buying a raffle and supporting Aidan, even though I wasn't sure what I would do with my prize. I would like to thank everyone that helped out with the raffle. S&M for donating the bike, Kris Henderschott for the amazing paint job and especially you for participating and spreading the word. We have tried to keep this going as long as we could to make as much money as we could, but some one has to win. Right? Tomorrow Friday Oct. 14 @ 5pm we will be picking a winner. We will pull a ticket and post it on the site and over at kickstartcycle.com. Once it is posted you will have 24 hrs. to contact us and claim the bike. If the bike is not claimed within 24 hrs. we will repeat the process till we have a winner. Fair enough? We will stop selling tickets tonight at 5pm so I can get all the tickets out. (I am a bit behind on this. Sorry, I have been really busy at the shop.) Thanks again folks. ~ Walter

The last two weeks have been brilliant. The week between the Gypsy Run and the Brooklyn Innovational was over the top. Now that things have slowed to my normal tempo I am working on the Wrap up for the run. I'll have photos and stories posted soon and I have a few shirts that I will put. Thanks Amigos! ~ Walter

GR5 sponsor and motorcycle enthusiast Chris Moeller of S&M Bikes sent us a Custom CR 24 BIG BMX CRUSER bike to raffle off to some lucky Gypsy Runner. While we were talking we thought it might be cool to have our resident artist Kris Henderschott paint it to make it even more better. (he is feverishly working to get it done now!) Then we decided we should do something worthwhile with the money so we decided to raffle off the ONE OF A KIND S&M CR24 GYPSY RUN SPECIAL and donate ALL the proceeds to AIDAN HAS A POSSE. I have been getting s bunch of emails and calls asking if people can come for just part of the run. Here is the thing, you are welcome for one hour or the entire run it doesn't matter. No one is going to look down on you if you can't be there every second. Furthermore, no one cares what kind of bike you ride. Pre Run Report

Fritz and Mike 47 pre ran the route this weekend. There might be a few small detours, but all and all the route still looks great. I'm gonna finish up the run books and post them in the DOWNLOADS section ASAP. Fritz wanted me to remind you guys that there are NO TOLLS on the run this year. Everything is looking good!

Food, Beer & Camping

As always, there are no fees to participate on the run. The only thing you have to pay for is your gas and camping spot. The fees are, $10.00 Friday Night and $10.00 Saturday, ($16 if you want a lean to) Friday night you can pay when we get there, for Saturday night I would recommend calling up the campsite and reserving a Lean to if you want one. They go fast. As for the beer and food, as always Friday and Saturday nights the beer is free while it lasts. Friday night, here are places to eat near the campsite, or you can bring something with you. We will be having a cookout Saturday night. Our friend Papas, will be grilling up something nice for everyone. Cool?
